Pallante took one for the team...pitch count wise. I'm impressed that they let him go over 100 pitches...or even over 90 pitches.

8th HR for Blaze Jordan today.

I really think the Cards could do a split between Gorman, Burleson, Jordan with 1B/3B/DH. Throw in a day off here and there to get Prieto a day at 3B or DH

Way to jog down the line Winn. I think he’s lazy. Too worried how he looks.

that's a 270 Chip not a 360

after a 360 that throw would have gone straight into right field

TBPH, the Cards are currently being no-hit.

In fact, I wouldn't be surprised one bit if--providing they don't manage to get a hit before the end of this game--the official scorer may (and should!) change this game to a no-hitter.

Herrera's "double" was an obvious error by the 3rd baseman on an average speed (70mph?) chopper up the line that he just miffed and I believe it touched his glove.

1st & 2nd

He can't find the strike zone

15 walks coming into today
This is why we need a longer lineup. Somedays 1-6 are enough. Other days they aren't hitting, they just walk Walker to get past him, then Pages and Scott are auto outs when we face certain pitchers.

the Rays shutout the Blue Jays today and are 24-12

24-12 !

small market team that seems to get it done year after year.

..Whoopee..! Cards get a run and spoil the Brewers' shutout. Cards have been shut out just once so far this season.

The Rays do overachieve year after year, doing better than most teams with less payroll than most. They currently have taken advantage of playing 15 of their last 18 games at home. They have gone 12-3 in that stretch vs Cincinnati, Minnesota, Cleveland, San Francisco, and Toronto. So, before this favorable stretch, they were just 12-9.
