I live in western Iowa so the trip is a nice circle. I have been to 19 big league parks but I have always wanted to do this Cardinals minor league circle and the teams are all home at the same time.

peoria's grass can start to turn a shade of yellow that time of year...and you may experience Canadian Wildfire smoke if the wind is blowing from the North. Other than that, great Ballpark, great fans, great experience.

That's awesome, fun trip. May as well make the circle bigger and go see the Cardinals at Cubbies on the 3rd or 4th. Or at least catch a Royals game on your way home.

I’ve always enjoyed our trips to Springfield, to go to a ballgame at the end. It’s one of the nicer, old fashioned stadiums, with great concessions and friendly fans. I saw several ML players pass through there

We usually combined a trip to the ballpark, whenever vacationing in Branson.

That is so cool. Rodriguez and Peete might be fun to watch for Peoria, too. Rodriguez might be playing for Sprindfield by then.

Today is the first game for the newly renamed Rt. 66 Stadium in Springfield. No longer Hammons Field.
You’ll have fun and tell us about your trip.

Have fun. Can't speak for the other two, but Springfield is an excellent minor league venue. Used to take my grandkids there a couple times a year.

100%. It's a great stadium. I saw Oscar Taveras there a few times -- and now his Kid is in the Mets' organization.

My granddaughter had a foul ball from Oscar land a row below her. Two big girls from NW Arkansas grabbed the ball. Oscar went three for three off a lefty named Montgomery who later pitched for KC and the Cubs. He had a really fine swing. His death caused a ripple effect on the Cardinals that they are just beginning to get over.
