you see...Urias is hurt. Now do you understand?
They were sending Saggesse down because he wasn’t getting enough pitches to see. Marmol said even 2 games a week wouldn’t be enough. So, that situation hasn’t changes. He won’t get 3 games a week. Did he need more ABs or not?
you see...Urias is hurt. A RHB was needed.

Find me the RHB on the 40 man roster we can promote outside of a not ready Baez.
I know you think you’re cute, but Saggesse isn’t a right handed bat. He’s no bat at all. Once the organization said he wasn’t ready and needed to be sent down, there’s no point in keeping him here. He’s not the only right handed bat in the minor leagues.
We could try having a back up, outfielder too since we have none.
God forbid there’s another injury. We’ll have to play with 24 players because they have nobody else to bring up.
Mendoza should have been the RH hitting infielder that was called up to replace Urias.
and what's the corresponding move off the 40 man roster? DFA Saggese?....you lose Saggese if you bring up Mendoza. Another team snatches him up, and we get NOTHING for him.

Urias has offered very little. I doubt if he would be missed.

Woah woah woah, slow down. Who is what now?
I inadvertently saw the usual, spiteful Guru post. Here's what the Guru probably doesn't get. Mendoza is a really good, verastile RH hitting infielder. Bring him up for a bench role. Let Saggese get the ABs he needs at Memphis.
Does "inadvertently" mean the same thing as you never really "Ad-Foed" Duce?

Do you really not understand how the 40 man roster works?

That would be a definite “no”.

Nope.
I have been to Memphis and left again before unpacking.
In fact, I recommend it.

He was never signed with the intention of making a meaningful contribution.
He was signed with the hope that another team might have interest in him before the summer trade deadline.

I don't know what injury he has, but he sure was hurting the team. Talk about a worthless signing, that is one Bloom struck out on.

Yeah, but I guess Urias was signed to be insurance if nobody hit well enough to play third and late-inning defense, and to possibly be a trade asset at the deadline. Probably not needed for the hitting or defense now (Gorman's been decent and Urias a bit shaky) and has limited value at this point. Wonder how long before Bloom can admit the Urias thing didn't work out that well.

Won’t happen. Two different roles.

Okay smart guy. You always act like you know everything and you sure don't. And why don't you post on others posts and follow them for a while instead always me. Your stick is getting very old and your comments are usually unfounded and only your thoughts which are usually wrong.

His role is to suck as the backup third baseman? We all saw he's a sieve at SS. And he may as well be using a badminton racket at the plate. .595 OPS and 74 wRC+. -0.2 fWAR. Utterly replaceable.
