Belchetz is a great pick.

Ryan Lin, would absolutely suck. Especially with Klepov one pick later.

I’d rather the draft went Rudolph Klepov

Lin doesn’t fit our defensive makeup at all.

If it unfolds this way I would take Rudolph and then trade back at 15 if Belchetz isn't there. I prefer the group at 22-28 much better than 15-22.

As for Lin... No more Torey Krug's or passive players. This team doesn't have any alphas and the few who have tried to be alpha (since we let Pat Maroon go) aren't built for it: Schenn, Neighbours, Bolduc, etc. This is a great draft to change all of that. There are lots of big right and left shot defensemen and power forward types with skill. And lots of players with descriptions of high motor, 200 foot player, tenacious in board battles or smothering defensemen. I want 6 of them with our first 6 picks.
