The organization is well run. Stable ownership. Great alumni. You can debate their moves, but the Blues management has class and are pros. Excellent scouting staff. Legit player development.

City has top notch NHL fans and corporate support. High ratings.

Should be an excellent destination for the best coaching candidates in all of hockey. I'm excited to see who they bring in.

On top of that many of the coaches under Army get promoted, get opportunities and he doesn't deny them an opportunity with other organizations if it presents itself. Bill Armstrong being one of them.

What asst coaches have left the Blues to become head coaches? What you say is true for Asst GMs (Kekkelainen and Bill Armstrong) but I can’t really think of the same path existing for Asst Coaches.
