This decision was really important to the team because we probably lost 2-3 draft positions as a result of it. So let's not act like it's not important now.

You may not like it, but there's a whole staff that works on replays for each hockey team. Opportunities to have an in-game situation only helps. It helps the hone the process and to get better....a little continuous improvement.
That group, just like the players, want to get better and do their job.
Good thread....just about every scenario has been laid out.
Problem or likely hood is.....not many of these moves will happen.
I think JB is in control of his own destiny.....not crazy to say it either....but I hope he wants to stay here next year and reestablish his #1 role as I firmly believe he can. Nothing against Joel at all...I love the tandem...but Id love to see JB retire here and earn his pay doing it.
