Peoria early game. Sequerra on the bump

Post by craviduce »

Sequerra gives up the Solo HR to the NEWEST Brewers' draft gem out of HS....Josh Adamczewski, 20 yo, 15th round pick in 2023, signed for around 250K?....and he's destroying pitching.

I'll say again...the Brewers know how to find HS prospects that no one else knows about and then they know how to develop them. I wonder what they could've done with Ryan Mitchell? He's struggling with the Cards in Low A....I imagine he's batting 30 or 40 points higher with Milwaukee? That's a silly claim, I know.

------------

That's been Sequerra's only blemish....he has 8 K's thru 4 IP....best outing of the year

And Rainiel just went yard for the 2nd straight game, (4th on the year)..... 1-1 score

Cho's career has about run out of track.
Certainly not a prospect anymore.

Baez with a grounder to 3B, Rainiel breaks on contact (mistake, bad baserunning), but the Catcher lets the throw from 3B go off his glove.....Rainiel scores...still it was bad baserunning.

4-2, Peoria ...bot 5th

Rainiel can flat out hit...like I said I've watched tons of chiefs games over the last 35 or so years...whether it be the cards or cubs affiliate...he is one of the better young hitters I've seen in that uniform ....he's going to have a nice major league career...

Wow, that Brewers prospect has put up some good numbers every year in the minors. Sounds like such a basic name too Josh Adam and then they throw the curveball of czewski

That was the ugliest attempted steal of home I've seen. Jesus (Baez).

Peete goes the other way and almost has a HR, settles for a double. Very nice swing. If he can cut down on those Ks...

I don't understand that call. On what world is that a foul ball? Don't you have to swing the bat?

Rainiel was fooled anyways the entire AB....breaking pitches and change up
