If you want to catch Adam Jiricek and Brantford playing in Game 7 of their OHL semifinal series vs. Barrie tonight at 6 pm (CT), it is streaming free on FloHockey’s YouTube page. Same goes tomorrow for Justin Carbonneau and Blainville's Game 7 at Moncton (5 pm CT). #stlblues

Ouch
Jiricek and the Bulldogs lose game 7 by a score of 5-0
I didn't watch but noticed that games 5 & 6 went to OT
Must have been a good series

Will Steve Ott get Jiricek into a TBirds playoff game? Seems like a stretch, really kinda of a slab to Newpower as the 3rd RD but AJ is the future.

Brantford was the huge favorite and blew a 3-1 series lead. They choked IMO. I didn’t watch Game 6 but watched Game 7. Yeah, they got goalied but Barrie did a good job shutting down the Bulldogs star players. Jiricek should’ve had a goal last night if he would’ve just lifted the puck a bit more and made a not so great play on one of the Barrie goals but overall he had a good playoffs.

I also wonder if the Blues will have him join the T-birds or if the Blues will just tell him to go rest for a couple weeks before starting his offseason training. My guess is they have him join the T-birds but I wouldn’t necessarily expect him to actually get in the lineup. Not unless the T-birds surprisingly get past the P-Bruins, Jiricek gets in enough practices to get up to speed with their system AND looks like he’d be one of the 6 best options at that point.
