Post by C-Unit »

What does that tell you. They've touched .500 4 times but not fallen below it. The last time being April 13th 8-8. Since then they have been "winning series" with the exception of the rough week against Miami and Seattle.

Is that more encouraging then previous seasons where we just had a random winning streak in the middle of the season? Is this team just "playing baseball," or will a losing streak eventually catch up with them and put them under .500.

Nobody expected the Cardinals to play above .500 all season. But if they do, then you have have have to capitalize on it with additions to the team going into the next season with more help coming from the minors (Baez, Rodriguez, and Bernal). It could be only up from here.

Der Cards have a really good team this year.....I am so impressed.

The pitch to contact brigade surely has Dave Duncan smiling from somewhere.

I hope that Bill will rethink the hard rebuild philosophy for this year and will strengthen the bulllpen (nice post Bulldog)...the Division title can be grabbed this year.

Come on Reds, hold off the Cubs!

It tells me that it is May and that they have had no significant injuries.

Surely they have exceeded expectations, but it’s a long season.
