Let's do that again. That was so fun.
While his time here wasn’t great, I will always appreciate his helping the Blues win the cup in 19.

He said, after hmmmming a bit....no

Though I believe he said he would trade all 3 #1's for him?

101 dude said he would not trade first pick either.

Then I think the guy they call BK said if Blues won both lottery's and got the #1 and #5 pick he would trade both of them for BT.

It's nuts. Anyone else here trade the top pick for Brady? I'm suspecting plenty would?

I don't get it. Praying cool heads prevail on this.
No there's absolutely no way I'm trading the #11 or anything earlier for him in any scenario. BK is being ridiculous if he thinks trading the #1 and #5 for Brady Tkachuk would be a wise move.

You'd have 1 Brady Tkachuk vs Gavin McKenna and potentially Ivar Stenberg or Carson Carels. Two potential foundational pieces for one guy is a terrible idea.

thanks

I agree with both of you on this.

There are some moves I would probably make involving our draft picks and maybe even prospects, but I'd rather continue moving out veteran forwards for futures as a primary concern.

But I also agree that we need to get some more top talent. If we don't land top-5, I hope we try to move up for Stenberg. There are still good players to take otherwise, but we need something more than good.

I'm not as concerned about the center position as others, but if you're telling me EDM would trade us McDavid (who approves) for all 3 of our 1sts, other picks, plus some of Neighbours/Kyrou/Buch and maybe a few prospects like Kaskimaki/Pekarcik/Stancl/Burns/etc. - sure, why not?

I wouldn't mind Trocheck if that were somehow possible. Same for Hischier.

There might be some 23-25 year old centers who are underachieving and might slot in on the cheap, but otherwise I'm letting Dvorsky take over.

I believe Stancl has been playing center. Dean has resurfaced. At least one talented Russian is in the pipeline. Peterson could be an option at 4C. Doesn't Jecho play C? Not sure if he'll slot there. Oh and then we still have Buch, who ended the year back at C. Suter and Finley fill it out.

Kyrou for a young, solid C is the trade for the offseason.

Thank you! I can't follow those guys but I think it was BK.

Just ridiculous.

The #1 is bad enough.

I’d love to see Brady traded to St Louis but not sure I’d trade pick 11 for him. If I did that would be it straight up for him.

I heard them mention yesterday with JR on there trading Jake, the 11th pick and Carbo. Not sure if these guys are just trying to get reactions from people or not but that’s a crazy proposal.

I wouldn't do those trades even if he was signed for 8 years.

What cup was that? The one between Binnington's legs?

St. Louis Blues (2023–2024)
On June 27, 2023, the St. Louis Blues acquired Hayes from the Flyers in exchange for a sixth-round pick in the 2024 NHL entry draft.[69] He had a slow start to the 2023–24 season, with only two goals in his first 17 games. After moving to a line with Alexey Toropchenko and Jake Neighbours on November 21, however, Hayes added seven goals in his next 13 games.[70] This success was not sustained, as Hayes scored only four goals in the last 47 games of the season and was a healthy scratch for two of the Blues' last three games.[71]

2019 as a member of the Jets he saved a goal stopping his own teammates shot from going in. The save was huge as it allowed the Blues to comeback and win the game. Think it was the game Schwartz scored late.

Sure! Just trade those picks before the lottery!!! The other team may strike it rich,
