We seem to be set on the front line, he certainly isn't the answer as a three point shooter.

Let’s wait and see on his 3pt shooting. His second year at SIU he was a 37 percent shooter from 3. Let the coaching staff work with him and let’s see how it turns out.

Davis seems to fit the kind of player that Coach likes to bring in. 6’6 and is capable of guarding multiple positions. Likes to get to the rim. I know this, he has to shoot the 3 better than Barrett if that’s what they want from him. Crowe is going to command the ball a lot. Let’s see how this plays out. Give me a Mizzou team that defends and rebounds, they will find scoring.

From what I've seen. Gates should have recruited Davis to Mizzou a long time ago. Maybe Gates tried. Better late than never.

Crowe will, probably like no one we have ever seen at mizzou...and that includes kobe brown.

Davis playing with Dybantsa last year is going to really benefit Crowe next season.

Nice pick up and a pleasant late surprise as well.

Not much said on his D play but love the multidimensional aspect of his game.

"Davis spent two seasons at Southern Illinois, where he caught the attention of many power schools with his performances and ability to shoot the 3, defend and fill in as a primary ball handler."

ESPN's Final men's basketball 2026 recruiting class rankings from Jeff Borzello and Paul Biancardi has Mizzou at no. 7. Make of that what you will, but any way you look at it, there has to be enthusiasm and hope entering this season. Knock on wood that none of our highly touted group fall into the pit of somehow never fitting in and making it onto the court, and/or that one or two of them don't suffer dibilitating injuries. These things have haunted Mizzou in recent years.

Just hope Davis doesn't end up like Sebastian Mack. What a waste!

I am in my 40s...maybe peeler is the one that you could compare, but I don't know. This kid is the all time high school scorer in the state of Cali. Maybe not

AP was one of the best true scorers I have seen at Mizzou. People could argue for players like Sunvold, Chevious, Smith, etc… and I could see those points of view, but AP could take over a game from 3, at the rim, on defense, etc…
