Woo is me. Had a stud beaten and gave it back. Now to avoid a sweep and three game skid before Pittsburgh.

This was a nice start to a year we all knew that the Cardinals would struggle. Reality will set in.

Well that's two wins the Cardinals could've easily had, especially yesterday.
Makes getting to my 6-4 much more unlikely now.

Only gave them four hits and lost Friday, that game was winnable too but (here we go BDog) poor AB's w/RiSP.sikeston bulldog2 wrote: ↑26 Apr 2026 10:25 amEspecially yesterday. And yesterday they had JJW + Herrera on w/no outs, the heart of the order up (Burly-Walker-Gorman) and they couldn't even advance them let alone drive them in.
Poor hitting w/RiSP continues to be an issue.

If I’m correct, we will get Skenes Chandler Wrobeski Ohtani and Yama in a row.

It doesn’t end at these ten games.
At Oakland and KC, with their pitching will be tough. Then home against Pitt again.

Re: Next Ten Games.
The classic response by players is 'we always forget yesterday ..that is in the past.. we just focus on today's game. Then sometimes will say to the reporter ' ya, know ' we play em one at a time ' adding a chuckle .
For managers, you often hear them mentioning 'we try to win each series ' so a 2 of 3 mentality. When it's a 4-game series and on the ROAD within the division , a manager is thinking 'be nice if we split the 4 games .. get out of here going 2-2, if possible .
Very often players have no clue who are the next opponents after the Pirates. Unlike fans , they don't spend their time looking 10 games out. Players don't play that projection game. Some don't have a clue what their batting average is either til they walk up to the plate and see it on the scoreboard next to their pic.
