victor scott,how much longer?
the guy simply cannot hit...he has zero power and is h9tt9ng all of 190...he seems to refuse to hit down on the ball and make use of his speed...seems to me he should not be out there other than a defensive replacement or pinch runner

We'll see how brave Oli and team are to make the sensible move. Church to center when Noot takes over LF. Still a lot of lefthanded batsscoutyjones2 wrote: ↑25 Apr 2026 15:00 pmProbably...Alex Reyes Cy Young wrote: ↑25 Apr 2026 14:57 pmIt’s sad hopefully not much longer. Upon Noots return?

A lot of LH bats as is...I'm missing your point. You swap Argo for Noot.sp25 wrote: ↑25 Apr 2026 15:07 pmWe'll see how brave Oli and team are to make the sensible move. Understood, just stating the obvious. Looking forward to a certain right handed hitting outfielder currently in Memphis, but that time will need to wait until he is ready.scoutyjones2 wrote: ↑25 Apr 2026 15:16 pmA lot of LH bats as is...I'm missing your point. If I understand it they are now trying to change his swing I think to be more level. Hitting down has not worked. So here we go again changing swings on MLB players.

Not sure Scott has it upstairs???
With his speed hitting cans of corn is not the answer.

He needs to take the ball the other way more like he did todayTalkin' Baseball wrote: ↑25 Apr 2026 20:09 pmBy all accounts he is very conscientious about wanting feedback and wanting to get better. He just isn't getting better.

Re: victor scott,how much longer?
He had a few little streaks in the minors, but he has never been a great hitter. So far he hasn't figured it out in the show. I think VSIi is a good kid and probably very coachable. He just doesn't like he can hit. Church is starting to, plays just about as good D, and can actually throw. I know who I would most of the playing time to if I had to choose.Talkin' Baseball wrote: ↑25 Apr 2026 20:09 pmBy all accounts he is very conscientious about wanting feedback and wanting to get better. Ok I probably made it sound a bit harsh so let me rephrase:Talkin' Baseball wrote: ↑25 Apr 2026 20:09 pmBy all accounts he is very conscientious about wanting feedback and wanting to get better. He just isn't getting better.
He does sound like a good kid and is coachable.
My original comment was more reflective of his plate discipline.
Needs to hit the ball on the ground more to utilize his great speed.
Too many pop flies.
A la Willie Mays Hayes.

Needs to go the other way more also on the ground if he shows bunt draws in the third baseman and starts slapping them the other way like he did today he would get a lot of hits.Cusecards wrote: ↑25 Apr 2026 20:29 pmOk I probably made it sound a bit harsh so let me rephrase:Talkin' Baseball wrote: ↑25 Apr 2026 20:09 pmBy all accounts he is very conscientious about wanting feedback and wanting to get better.
