NL Central teams tonight

Post by 12xu »

The Cardinals host the Mariners, who are 11-15 this year but are a better team than that. The Cardinals will face pitchers Gilbert, Woo, and Hancock - starters who all have ERA under 3.

The cubs travel to LA, sporting their 9 game winning streak. They will miss Ohtani and Glasnow.

The NL Central co-leading Reds host the Tigers, who are tied for first in the AL Central.

The most interesting game of the night features Pittsburgh at Milwaukee - Skenes vs Woodruff. Should be a dandy.

Brewers faced Skubal yesterday. Had a lead 4-3 into 8th but Tigers had solo HR to tie and walk-off HR ti win it in 9th.

I posted earlier that Gilbert is pitching for Seattle tonight, but it is George Kirby.

He gives up a single with two outs in the 7th. Gets the third out, 93 pitches thru 7.

With the single now and 93 pitches, Dkenes may be out now. 4-0 lead
Brewers best shot at comeback is to have Skenes pulled.

As of right now, looks like only PIT may win tonight in the NL Central. Reds and Cubs both currently losing and Brewers already lost.

Walk off home run for Cincy. Shame only 4 people in the ballpark to watch. You thought cardinals attendance was low? There had to be less than 1,000 at the Reds game tonight

Cubs score 6 unanswered to beat dodgers for 10 straight wins

Cardinals and brewers only teams to lose tonight.

It's going to be very hard for the cardinals to keep up with this division all year.

There was a two-hour rain delay.
