Good pitching by both teams… low scoring 3-2
First one run loss by Cardinals.. won’t be last .
Both teams played well :::: no errors I believe
Pallante did well. 8 strikeouts. … three 5.1 innings
Seattle’s Kirby is good . Seattle has another good one yomorrow
One of those games where you outhit the other team (had double the hits of Seattle 8-4 ) yet Seattle wins the tight one .
Cardinals had hard hit balls go directly to fielders . That happens in baseball .. hit em hard but right at defenders. That solo HR was the difference tonight.

The only 2 Cardinals runs came on a bloop single by Winn.
I'm not a big metrics fan but no matter how you look at the stats it's hard to believe that this team is above .500. Tonight's game was a good example. Plenty of base runners but very little production. 2 on nobody out late in the game with the middle of the order up and they get bupkus.
And yes I realize that Seattle has very good pitching.

.174 Urias ends it whiffing.
less than .174 now
made one heckofa D play though.
Didn’t see the game unfortunately or fortunately depending how you want to look at it but this is kind of who I thought he would be. A late inning defensive replacement and the occasional spot start.
