One thing to consider is who is best replacement for Winn on numerous rest days and in case of injury.ramfandan wrote: ↑24 Apr 2026 16:39 pm Seeing Scott on the bench again tonight has me thinking this scenario .
Noot expected to return about May 26th. So Oli has one month remaining to see how the trio of Church, Fermin, and Scott in the OF.
Pretty likely Noot would return to LF spot so Oli will want to give many reps to Church in CF between now and then
If in this next month , Church hits much better than Scott then he may get the bulk of CF time IF Oli wants to play Noot a lot in LF making Scott's starts in CF decline .
When Noot returns , some posiiton must be removed from the roster. The candidates would most likely be from a group of Fermin, Saggese , Urias
Some may disagree with this analysis but I feel Oli likes Urias for 3rd base for defense when he wants to put Gorman as the DH in some games.
If Oli does, then it may come down to Fermin vs Saggese .. I know some have said Oli like Saggese a lot but Fermin may be the guy of those two to keep. Your thoughts
If Bloom /Oli wish to continue with 4 OF's Noot, Church , Scott, Walker would have the best shot it seems.
That may be the only thing keeping Saggese around.Jatalk wrote: ↑24 Apr 2026 16:46 pmOne thing to consider is who is best replacement for Winn on numerous rest days and in case of injury.ramfandan wrote: ↑24 Apr 2026 16:39 pm Seeing Scott on the bench again tonight has me thinking this scenario .

While you’re at it, tell him to end the love affair with Pages. Maybe the absolute best lineup is Pozo catching, Gorman 3B, Herrera DH, the rest as is.riff raff wrote: ↑24 Apr 2026 16:43 pmI'll call Oli and ream him out.CorneliusWolfe wrote: ↑24 Apr 2026 16:36 pmYou might have me there. How about Gorman at 3B and Pozo DH?
All of our catchers are once a week types.
