Seattle Sounders 4 Stl City 1

Post by Rosthol »

So does anyone think they are better than last year?

I don’t think so.

Rough day at the office, for sure. All of those coaching changes have yet to result in improved play. Still a lot of time left in the season but need to start getting some wins.

Still ahead of the KC Whiz in the standings which is the only race that matters.

Nobody thinks that losing to Seattle is an indictment of being a bad club.

The Sounders have one loss in MLS and have gone 3-1 in the Champions Cup, where they were seeded 3rd.

Excuses. Excuses. Excuses.

When will we see results?

This team isn’t particularly good. You don’t need this match to come to that decision. Record (1-3-6) and Standings (25th) speaks for itself

Same problem as last year, except we decided to divorce ourselves from the lone option capable of scoring before the season started. For what you ask? Sweet, sweet GAM.

Klauss of course has 5 Goals. We have <checks notes> 7. The best team in the West has 22. Go figure.

You certainly do if you don't want the team to be particularly good

It is a shame they didn’t invest the money they got for Klauss.

Just like they won’t invest the money for Sargent.

And they lead MLS in fewest goals allowed

Not sure why someone cares that we are ahead of Sporting KC or not.
