Why wouldn’t Sargent want to come to Saint Louis?
The bigger question is did City even try to sign him?
Probably not given the transfer fee of 22 million dollars which may go up to 27 million.
He would have filled a glaring need for this team.
Why are long pants long...all great questions (sarcasm)
Still disappointing from City.
Being purposely obtuse is no way to go through life.
How am I being purposely obtuse?
You aren’t disappointed in City not trying to sign Josh Sargent?
No, because it was never a realistic expectation. Again, I think a basic understanding of 'discovery rights' would prove beneficial
Why wasn't it a realistic expectation?
Because CKB doesn’t want to spend the money?
I’ll leave the assumptions to you. Based on prior transfer history and spending it would be foolhardy to think such a signing as being plausible.

So CKB doesn’t want to spend the money.
Why bother pick him as a Discovery player then.
Except to have a $500,000 to $750,000 payday?
