Why is FB a no-go. Cost ?
Because failed soccer managers hold a grudge and don’t contribute to NIL

Cool ! I took a lot of classes there, years ago. Will be fun for folks in the Metro East.

SWIC is funded by the state of Illinois and local tax revenue.

SLU is not.

The campus stretches across the City of Belleville now. From the East Campus off Green Mount, to some old Government buildings downtown, and out to the old West HS, where they will play.

Time for Netflix to resurrect 'Last Chance U' and have their cameras in Belleville for the inaugural season. Is Coach Jason Brown available?

Nobody thinks the State of Illinois is flush with cash to help get this going.

So just that work?

Illinois is facing significant budget deficits, projected to reach $2.19 billion in 2027, with a $267 million deficit expected by the end of fiscal year 2026. The state's financial challenges are exacerbated by rising costs and insufficient revenue growth.

Nobody has yet to provide any evidence that the football program will be publicly financed.

Not for a long time.

But, Mizzou is now a division 2 hockey program . The women will start Division one play in2027.

Maryville and ....college in St. Charles is now division one.

Slu does have a club team. It is time they step up

Who is going to pay for the party?

The Salomon Brothers (the first owners of the Blues) paid for the program back in the day.

SLU is not in financial condition to start a hockey program.
