All the stuff is still in his head .. the difference is Walker is not 'thinking ' about the mechanics . As in all sports , the athlete allows his 'subconscious' to perfrom the swing etc. without thinking about it ... a golf swing, a free throw, throwing a pass , etc.
Walker is just taking his deep breath , staying relaxed, and letting it happen .

Explain why it looks like they flushed the analytics out of his head. What was looking too analytical before the start of this season and what is clearly less analytical 3 games into the season?

Or it looks like you've had the analytics word stuck in your mind waiting for a thread to start making it the subject of your thread.

I also think ABS is a big help for Jordan. He was tied for 15th in MLB in players getting hosed by balls being called strikes over the last 2 years. Now he doesn't have to worry about that non-strike being called. Something tells me that's a big part of it because he looks far more comfortable on those offspeed pitches that were his bane.

Although, didn't seem to help first few weeks of ST. lol. Regardless, sure hope this sticks. If he became the .300/.900+/30/100 player he was projected as, this team looks completely different.

True. Good start. I’m just not a believer yet.

Not they, he seems to be ignoring them.

He is.
Taking a low pitch on the outer half to RF for a base hit today was a very good moment for him.
Agree with the OP.
That is a result of ignoring the "pull the ball, create launch angle and back spin" nonsense the coaching staff spent 2 years foolishly demanding.
The HR was impressive.
But that base hit was illuminating.
It is a start.

How long would a productive Jordan Walker, Nolan Gorman, and Victor Scott knock off the rebuild?
