In a reset Saggese needs to oplay over Urias

Post by Shady »

Urias is a fine defensive replacement. And possible pinch hitter late in games.

Sorry but Urias is the better choice to play 3B.

Wrong. Considering the reset objective. You will see.

The Cardinals have won the series, who knows what lineup Oli may throw out there on Sunday.

Reset objective???
WTF are you talking about???
I like Saggese(and he will get his chances) but Urias is superior to him at 3B defensively.
Also he is a proven hitter.
Saggese has proven nothing yet.
And while we all like Saggese please STOP with your obsessive [nonsense]!

Not sure what you mean by "you will see". The game is done and over, how on earth are you going to prove that Saggese was the better option for today's game?

Why do you think he is in the picture for third base? He has played there but there is some question about arm strength. Also Gorman playing there fills the reset goal you noted. They got Urias to play platoon at third.

Thank you!
And I like Saggese but it is ONLY game #2!
Urias needs to play also and didn’t he hit a double.
Shady has a boner for Saggese so now we’ll have repetitive daily OP’s.
LOL .....SMH

It'll be something stupid most likely. He will think JJ needs a day off.

i made a legendary CT call on Burleson. Many here didn't see it coming. Where were you? I have good feelings about Saggese's potential. Let's see how it plays out.

Ok
I know you like to START threads but they are often REPETITIVE in nature.
You also OBSESS over certain players.
Usually Burleson and now Saggese!
You have been told this by MULTIPLE posters for years
Now...follow this thought pattern:
Saturday- RHP on mound. Herrera to catch so need another DH. You keep your LH bats in lineup. Gorman makes logical sense for DH.
3B???? Urias is superior defender to Saggese who has been shaky there at times. That is what Urias was signed for!
Sunday- LHP on mound. Herrera back to DH. Now you want to get your other RH subs some PT. That means Saggese and Fermin. Possibly Urias again? Church and Gorman could sit. Saggese I believe starts in LF over Church.
We’ll see who is at 3B???

Now....you do realize that early on you want guys to get a look????
Are you ok following this thought process???

No.

Urias is the right choice today. Baseball is a long season. Don’t worry about TS’s playing time and the rookie cards you have of him decreasing in value…
