I too picked 81-81. My thought to myself is, do they get 81 from below .500 then rally, or do they fall from above .500 to 81.thats a thought i have- how they get there.

We’ve seen it all. It’s here.

The odds guys got 70 ish. They are rarely wrong big. I’m usually a 81 win or better predictor.

So my call- 81-81. Awesome for a young growing team.

Currently 42 predictions and 3612 projected loses. We have seven posters who predict a winning record, and three .500. Leaves 32 under .500.

76-86 was the board average.

87 is the most wins projected, while 102 is the most losses projected.

Also six of the seven above .500 where 84 wins or less.

This means 32 losing records and six just above .500. No dominant number. Very real possibility they end up below .500 with these predictions.

I would hope the St Louis Cardinals would focus on winning instead of tanking. Sad state of affairs.

OK, you have to predict before the first pitch. The team will have pitching at least as good as last year, and most likely better. Offense...? Who knows. There is potential for a decent offense, and it can also all go south. I will go 82-80 because I am an optimist......

I think they will win between 67 and 72 games in 2026.

Not much positive movement has taken place since this post, so I will predict their 2026 record will be 69-93.
