so......Oli doesn't want to give him back to back games to build on that?
kinda strange IMO
Oli lives by the misguided thought that a player should sit and bask in the glory of having a good game. We have a manager who doesn't understand riding momentum. He is a pud.

And if he did and went 0'fer?
So protect him from going 0’fer at the expense of momentum? There’s not a player in MLB that doesn’t value consistent at-bats and credits it to getting going. It’s like Oli purposely sits anyone who shows any semblance of a streak. Stupid move if he plans on committing to this player as a starter for the opening of the season.

How's his replacement doing?

Who deserves playing time?

Which RFer plays defense to?

What player has earned a spot on the ,MLB roster?

Are we seeing a lot of Cardinals runners thrown out on the bases? Wasn't that a problem last year as well?

Who coaches these guys?

How did Saggese do in leftfield, defensively, today? I noticed he had a couple hits, including a home run. Surprisingly, his batting average is now above .300.
