Sorry to pile on the dude, but, per Gameday, Walker was gifted two balls that were really strikes(not sure why they didn't challenge them) to finally get on base, and he gets picked off. He must be thinking "why didn't I stay in school?", lol.

It’s not just oli bloom wants him to catch so he’s catching. I’m not a fan of olis but that call came from the top. Bloom doesn’t think the previous regime set Herrera up for success and poorly developed him they want to see what he can do with proper instruction right or wrong

No not really.

They want to let the (obvious) play out and that is Herrera realizes he's not a catcher and they won't alienate him by telling him the obvious.
