Essentially, this just means that Pallante beat him out for the rotation spot, and Fitts isn't geared for a bullpen spot. The other way around, and Pallante would have been in the pen. Fitts has very very little pen experience.

Yeah, I could maybe see them keeping Pushard and sending Graceffo down, although Pushard hasn't been all that impressive in ST so far, and Graceffo has been decent. Roycroft has looked pretty good in ST, I doubt they send him down.

Graceffo was away in WBC and has not pitched much. I think we see both several more times the rest of the spring. It may come down to Pushard and Graceffo
