Necessary win against the last-place team in the A-10. Once again, a SLU opponent makes it tough thanks to a large number of 3-pointers. Where's that perimeter defense? And once again, an opposing player has their best game of the season against the Billikens (Loyola's Amos).

Good news - SLU secures the #1 seed for the conference tourney. Will only need to win 3 for the automatic bid.

Bad news - SLU goes on the road to George Mason to finish the season on Saturday. Don't see SLU winning this one so there will be more pressure to win the conference tournament.

I get the road game but still they should be able to beat GM anywhere.

It's a perfect tune up for the tournament and they need to cap this season off right with some good basketball.

They should have beaten Rhode Island, too, but it didn't happen. Rhode Island, by the way, went on to lose their next 3 after beating SLU.

The George Mason game is more important for at-large bid consideration in case they don't win the A-10 tourney.

Have to beat George Mason anywhere!

No doubt.
