SEC Standings

Post by cardinalsfever44 »

Heading into the final 2 games of the regular season, Mizzou enters in 4th place in the SEC, which would include a double bye to start the SEC tournament.

Should be a fun week with Oklahoma on the road and Arkansas at home.

Those are going to be 2 tough ones. We beat The Sooners with 2 buzzer beaters in CoMo. And The Hogs are still hurting from us beating them on their court.

Currently Florida is blowing out Arkansas by 21 with half coming to a close.
Arkansas is looking as helpless against Florida as Miss State against Mizzou.
Keep in mind, Mizzou beat Florida early in the season and Mizzou is much stronger today.
In my opinion, Mizzou is playing as well as Florida right now.
We can win that home game against Arky.

Always a great day when arKansas and Kansas both go down -- and in humiliating fashion.

Mizzou has made a Jekyll & Hyde turnaround in the late season. Just don't start reading your press clippings (or whatever social media's counterpart might be).

In a good spot, but Mizzou will find a way to lose the next 2, finish like 8th or 9th in the SEC. Win 1 game in the SEC Tourney, then get bounced in the 1st round.

Sorry, was that negative?

Ok......we win the next 2, win 1 or 2 in the SEC Tourney, then go on tp a Sweet 16 run!

You can rest assured every game will be a war from here on starting with OU on the road. I don't care what they're record says unlike Mississippi St. the Sooners are more than capable.

Arkansas at home to finish the regular season speaks for itself and then of course the SEC tournament which a number of teams are capable of winning.

Arkansas can be had at home. They're a different team on the road. They got trounced by 34 at Florida yesterday. The Sooners can be had on the road as well. It may not be easy, but those two games can be won if the Tigers play to their capabilities. I especially want to see the defense we saw in the first half yesterday. They were challenging everything.

And, back to the original reason for the post, we would now be the four seed for the SEC tourney because we hold the tie breakers versus KY and TN.
If we win out we could move even higher!

If we win out, the highest we can go is #3.

Unless they do the right thing, and give Bama the three loses for playing the G League Dropout!
