Yes, Albert Pujols had a greater career than Molina. Pujols had the greatest 12 years of any St. Louis Cardinal except Musial, Gibson, and Hornsby. He is also a class act who have no doubt would be proud to have the greatest defensive catcher in Cardinal history share his day.45s wrote: ↑26 Feb 2026 12:01 pmAlbert Pujols is so much more deserving than molina…Francis Park Thug wrote: ↑26 Feb 2026 11:40 amMolina is not in the top ten Cards of all time.clemonsonroots wrote: ↑26 Feb 2026 08:58 am It would be silly if Molina has to wait one year because they only induct one a year, and then he potentially gets voted in first ballot to the actual hall of fame...just auto them both in. If you had a list of top ten Cards of all time, they both would be on the list.
He's closer to 20 than 10.
For Puhols to have to share the day with another does not recognize his singular greatness…
Molina spent his entire 19 year career with St. Louis, earned 4 platinum gloves and 9 gold gloves, 8 consecutive. He led the NL in assists by a catcher 3 times, and led the NL in caught stealing % 4 times. He is #4 in games caught in MLB. In 2018, he won the Roberto Clemente Award for his work on and off the field.
You have expressed your disdain for the man often on this forum. You claim that you are not a fan of any player on any team, and yet you constantly display your dislike for Yadier Molina. If you are not emotionally involved in a positive way for any player or team, why would you be so negatively obsessed with Molina?
