Funny how people take a post out of context and try to rewrite it. I put the line from game one and said that will probably happen frequently with this team. All of you immediately jump on it like it's some kind of rare gotcha. LOL Whitey Herzog said he knew one thing going into a season, they were going to win 60 games and lose 60 games it the 42 in the middle that would decide the season. They will win 60 but they will lose a lot more than 60 most likely.

We are in the middle of a rebuild, of course we will lose more than 60. I don’t understand how so many fans still can’t accept this. The hope is there isn’t a lockout next season, and the stockpiling of prospects allows us to have another decade of sustained success.

As I've said over and over, you don't have to be a loser to rebuild. Every (bleep) MLB team rebuilds to some extent every year. Not spending the money to make this team competitive is a con game. You all just can't seem to get that through your heads.
