When I refer to Army, I'm referring to the collective...

-Army himself
-Management that pays him to win at the cash register more than the ice
-And all the player personnel that advise him.

And guess what... All of that will be unchanged when Army moves his lunch bag and coat hanger upstairs.

If people think he’s handing the reigns all the way over to Steen, I’ve got land in a flood plain to sell them.

The fact he’s still associated with the team in any capacity tells me he’s still going to be involved.

They need to do a clean cut like the Cardinals did with Mozeliak.

If the Leafs miss the postseason, Treviling will get the ax and the very first call will be made to Armey.

You mean like 5 years too late?

No. This is a great transition zero like the Cardinals and Steen isn't going to be some kind of front for Operations.

He will be the GM who has the brain and ability to listen and then decide with his career on the line like any other.

I agree 100%...fire Army, that is the 1st of MANY moves needed to get the Blues back towards a Cup team.

Ha! Do you EVEN realize, I mean take a break and meditate on this: ALL moves henceforth, made or otherwise, lead to the next Cup.

It doesn't care about Armstrong or a top 5. It cares about attention because it's dad didnt hug it.

After Canada's loss today don't be too sure. Army not loved too much.

Then again the NHL and Leafs...so expect the unexpected expected head scratcher.

They'll pry the reins out of Army's cold dead hands...
