I'm not a fan of it in the NHL either.

But for the Gold Medal you should be playing real hockey, not 3 on 3 shinny.

Great to see Team USA beat Canada for Olympic Gold in ice hockey.
Does anyone know if there is a Summer Olympics gold medal for baseball - and if active MLB players are permitted to play?
That would be more interesting than the utterly ridiculous World Baseball classic.
Japan vs. USA for Olympic gold would be a summer Olympics highlight.
I can think of an easy way to make this work.
But for now - congrats to Team USA for the hockey gold.
(That should be sufficient to keep this thread active and on topic).

It has to be worked out with the players association
