Burns best attribute right now is simply to get in the way (or out of the way when Mizzou has the ball).Sophrosyne wrote: ↑20 Feb 2026 08:56 amYes, he was a problem.woofy25 wrote: ↑19 Feb 2026 14:18 pmHe had the best game of his not so great career. And get in the way of shooters when on defense.Red7 wrote: ↑20 Feb 2026 14:04 pmBurns best attribute right now is simply to get in the way (or out of the way when Mizzou has the ball).Sophrosyne wrote: ↑20 Feb 2026 08:56 amYes, he was a problem.woofy25 wrote: ↑19 Feb 2026 14:18 pmHe had the best game of his not so great career. At least he was a positive. Mack & Northweather don't get into games anymore for obvious reasons. Porter & Boateng are hurt & weren't contributing much when they weren't. HCDG has brought a lot of guys who just haven't done much. Do we need better recruiting searches or coaches who can get more out of the players we sign or put players in the position to succeed? Or do we just throw spaghetti against the wall?

Here's another myopic poster that puts Mizzou on an island in order to stir up negative vibes after a victory.MizzouMarv wrote: ↑20 Feb 2026 15:21 pm At least he was a positive. Every team has players who don't play due to injury, talent and/or numbers.
Re: Burns did some good things against Vanderbilt
I wouldn’t quite call it throwing spaghetti against the wall as much as trying mix and match carpet fragments. Individually, I think most of these guys are talented, but don’t compliment each other or like mismatched carpet fragments, they don’t fit together. Then again, since there are no apparent offensive or defensive systems, maybe they don’t need to.MizzouMarv wrote: ↑20 Feb 2026 15:21 pm At least he was a positive. Maybe Gates needs to see if there are any players from Croatia that could help out.MizzouMarv wrote: ↑20 Feb 2026 15:21 pm At least he was a positive. Is an air ball counted as a turnover? If not, it should be.icon wrote: ↑19 Feb 2026 13:16 pmWell, he tied for the team lead in rebounds with 7, blocked a shot and scored 3 points. And only 1 TO. In portal in April, Gates needs to find a top center from Europe or Australia.Shady wrote: ↑21 Feb 2026 09:19 amMaybe Gates needs to see if there are any players from Croatia that could help out.MizzouMarv wrote: ↑20 Feb 2026 15:21 pm At least he was a positive. Gates should copy Underwood.
