SAN DIEGO – The San Diego Padres, in partnership with Major League Baseball, 97.3 The Fan and 860AM La Poderosa, announced their 2025 regular season broadcast schedule. All regular season Padres games will be televised in English on either Padres TV, AppleTV+, ROKU, ESPN, FS1, FOX Sports or TBS. Games produced by Padres TV will also be available for live, authenticated streaming on Padres.TV. Additionally, all regular season games will be broadcast live on the radio in both English and Spanish on 97.3 The Fan and XEMO-860AM La Poderosa, respectively.
Padres fans can use the channel finder at www.padres.com/tunein to find their provider’s channel number by entering their zip code. For easy reference in San Diego, the channels are as follows:
COX - 83
Spectrum – 305
DirecTV – 694-3
AT&T Uverse – 781
MLB took over the Pads broadcasts in 2023 after Ballys went belly up. This seems to be the standard operating procedure for MLB broadcasts with the cable, DirecTV, AT&T providing broadcast through Pads TV at channels above. They even offer the 10 games on over the air local TV.

Why should I pay for another app when I have cable TV? See SD listings that I posted.

That's the kind of attitude that will spread the game.bfib wrote: ↑19 Feb 2026 17:50 pm Well then they won’t watch. I’m not sure what else to say. The Cards TV partner went out of business because they were paying way too much for the rights. Now MLB had to step in and take control of the rights and put them on their platform.
If you want to watch you’re just going to have to figure it out
Congratulations old and poors.

I've said it before and I will say it again I have no desire whatsoever to pay for another streaming service. I'm done, I'm out.

It’s actually really simple to those that don’t complain about a free bag of gold being too heavy.Goldfan wrote: ↑19 Feb 2026 11:32 amWeeks away from Cards opening day and this org……whose only mandate is to provide an entertainment product for its customers….can’t provide clear instructions how to view its product in the home market. Truly amazing. I don’t think I’ve ever witnessed a more complete clusterphuck stewardship of any business like the BDW ST. Louis Cardinals. They had a rabid captured fanbase and have almost completely destroyed it.rockondlouie wrote: ↑19 Feb 2026 11:06 amYour guess is as good as mine GFGoldfan wrote: ↑19 Feb 2026 10:42 amSo Spectrum will broadcast a FanDuel…..Foxsports Midwest like coverage on one of their cable channels? But we don’t know which channel that is currently?rockondlouie wrote: ↑19 Feb 2026 09:00 am As long as he subscribes to the TV Select Plus tier package, then he'll get the Cardinals games.
But
The TV Select Signature or Stream level does not.
I dropped them recently and went to a DirectTV package + Cardinals.TV

Star link works. But you can buy the Cardinals TV package on DIRECTV. It’s not that hard.
St. Louis Cardinals games on DIRECTV, with local, in-market games primarily on FanDuel Sports Network Midwest (formerly Bally Sports). For the 2026 season, this is transitioning to the new "Cardinals.TV" service, which will be available through DIRECTV as a channel

Thank you all who replied to my question and especially you Tony , with your insight as former employee of Spectrum . I will forward your excellent suggestion to my old buddy and his wife. Ramfandantony3425 wrote: ↑19 Feb 2026 17:56 pmI worked for Spectrum on the west coast until a few years ago. The problem with calling in, is that the call centers have a very generic understanding of localized packages because they very heavily not only by state, but by region as well. So Hopefully you find someone here that can offer some insight because calling in will get you absolutely nowhere. If he's able to go into the store, that would be the most accurate information. Just have him go online and schedule an appointment at the store location, or he could be waiting a couple hours in there.ramfandan wrote: ↑18 Feb 2026 18:55 pm I have an elderly friend in west county who has Spectrum cable . Since I live out of state, I could not answer this Cardinal TV question.
He was reading about the $99.99 Cardinal TV thing and called his cable company there about signing up.
He told me that they told him he would be getting all the Cardinals games (with exception of 10 ) and the spring training games on his Channel 6 with Spectrum.
Checking to make sure this is correct and that he will be getting all the games (minus the 10 ) without adding any subscription So I told him I would check on the forum .
Anyone with spectrum that can help me out ?
Appreciate the help.. Thank you ! Ramfandan

I called Spectrum and it was easily explained that I could but the Cardinals TV channel for $99. It’s not that difficult.ramfandan wrote: ↑20 Feb 2026 01:02 amThank you all who replied to my question and especially you Tony , with your insight as former employee of Spectrum . Did you pay for those services? Sure. Did you only get one program or channel to watch for that price? Nope you had it for the 150 channels as well.
You are comparing apples to rice a roni

Re: Need a poster who has Spectrum cable in St. Louis for info
It was on the basic package for spectrum which included the 89 other channels. I'm not purchasing a separate service just for 162 games a year.
