Exactly. We went into a stall offense with the game still in question and just let Vandy come back. Then we ran the same inbounds play after Vandy scored 4 times with Ant or Barrett running into the corner to get the pass and were trapped. Then Mitchell tried about the only possible way to lose with less than 2 seconds left. It is almost like we threw out coaching and common sense at the same time.

Glad we got the win, but need to play much smarter for the next 5.

That was one of the most pathetic complete breakdowns and displays of panic ridden collapse I have ever seen.The fact that they ended up winning by luck as much as anything is nothing for this team to celebrate and be proud of. Take the win, Mizzou, but for all practical purposes go into practice tomorrow facing the fact that when they came after you, you crumbled. This was hardly a game that builds optimism.

What’s truly amazing is that Vandy got that close without having to send. Mizzou to the line. So not only did they nearly blow a 21 pt lead in 8 mins, it happened without the other team even needing to foul them. Not sure I’ve ever seen that before.
