 Canada better get organized offense. They had dominated in other games so let’s see if they will take over in this one. If not, there’ll be a lot of disappointment.

He lets in a sh%t ton of goals lately. That is the major problem with him. It's hard to defend him anymore.

I think his act his worn thin around here. We want more out of him. We can see his mediocre record and stats over the last few years. I wonder what is wrong with him. He has some mental stuff going on--confidence issues. I personally get tired of folks on here sticking up for him when he gives up 4 or 5 each game. He has lost his edge IMO.

I'm worn out by him and would like to see him go away. Stil love what he's done for the team. He can win the big one but cant win on regular season to get us to the playoffs.
I get all that, and that’s fine, but every goal is his fault. We had folks in here a couple weeks ago blaming him for a goal literally deflected 4 ft in front of him. I don’t have an issue with people griping about goals, but you see one goal go in vs him and Binnington is awful, the same goal at the other end and it’s what a great shot.
Can a goalie play great and still give up multiple goals? Trick question- the answer is yes! That's why you have to look at each goal. As someone pointed out the 3 Canada defenders on the first goal did a horrible job with 2 Chechias in the crease but Binnington was out of the crease by a foot for the goal. If he's hugging the near post he might still get beat but at least he has a chance. To me bad positioning AND horrible defense. Two things can be true.

the first goal was a standard overpursuit by Binner. it's not a bad play it's just bad team play with his defenders. it really just depends on what the communication was on the ice. If the defenders said they had the back side, which it appears they should have with 3 there, binner is going to commit to the short side post since that's all that was available. PEOPLE WOULD BE RIPPING him if it went in short side softy.

2nd goal only way that save is made is if you are like Ben Bishop or ironically Otter, tho he's not dressed. Only way to save that is to either have already cheated the shot or be that big.

Osh does a great job. If some team lands him for non network nights they will be very lucky.

Canada’s defense has not been helpful. That was a 50-50 goal… perhaps some more percentage for the shooter
