Likely 2-4 rest of the way

Post by California Cardinal Fan »

Tigers might beat Oklahoma & Miss, St. Otherwise, losers to Vanderbilt. Tennessee, and twice to Arkansas. This is what their play is showing us, and it's also the tail end of the season during which they are prone to a fast fade.

Getting to 9 SEC wins would exceed my expectation of 8 wins start of conference play for this squad and HC who seem to never disappoint on the big stage. Maybe an upset and 10 wins - that would be something and would have the simps at PD, RMN, LoM, and TB calling for an extention for the HC. I refuse to become invested in a confused MBB program.

We will only be favored in 2 of the game but the home game at Arkansas is a must win for the tourney. We need to go 3-3 and possible still need some help to get in. Texas, Texas A&M, and Georgia will have better resumes, so having 1-2 of them stumble will help us considerably.

They have played some really good ball at times and at times, just awful. They could pull this off, especially with these mostly being home games. They take two from Vandy, Arky 2x, and tenn, and they will be in. They have beaten florida and kentucky- on the road. they can do it. Free throw shooting may kill them though.

i think they need to get to 11 total wins conf/tourney combined to get to the Ncaa's --- so a 9-9 team needs 2 wins in the conf tourney.

I find it kind of funny you are lowering your expectations.

I never had expectations. I had some cautious optimism. That cautious optimism looks likely to be false hope. Work on your reading comprehension skills. They rank even lower than your attempts at sarcasm.

Georgia is in worse trouble than Mizzou.
Georgia is 5 and 7 and they play at Kentucky tonight.
If they lose tonight, it is over for them.

For some reason, I feel 3 and 3 is very possible. However, this team does have different levels of play.

You obviously expected them to beat Texas. And now you're expecting them to lose most of the rest even though they have beaten Florida, UK and Texas A&M. You tend to lose all perspective after losses. Work on your self-reflection.

Well, I'm an optimist, and I still think a 10-8 conference record is achievable!!!!! With that, we will be in the NCAA tournament and on our way to our first final four. Believe!!!

Look, I'm not going to waste any more time with you. You obviously are not here to talk basketball; you get off on starting arguments, and irritating people with some kind of need to get the last word. So go find a nearby wall, and argue with it as much as you wish. I hope you have fun,

Ok, Teach. I guess you told your students to go stand in the corner often. 8)

And you said a while back you were giving up on the Missouri program. Show me!

Well, I'm an invested fan. Win or lose, I'm invested or I wouldn't post here, wouldn't watch it on tv, would not follow recruiting/NIL and would not go to games.

And I'm glad to be invested.
