Has anybody heard any updates on T. Roby?
I watched him in Springfield and he is underrated. He has a presence on the mound.
Hopefully the injury issues get solved out, he has good stuff.

I thought he was going to be out all year after having Tommy John. Someone may need to verify the exact timeline.

Cardinals pitching prospect Tekoah Roby underwent Tommy John surgery last week, reports Katie Woo of The Athletic. He’s expected to miss not only the remainder of the current season but also the entire 2026 season as well.

He won't pitch this year, but I've read the same thing about him. Some of the local writers talk about how people in the organization rave about how good he can be. He was a guy that Bloom brought up in an interview as well. It seems like he has the stuff to be a top of the rotation guy, but who knows if he'll ever get healthy. Maybe he'll have a Carpenter like period where he can finally get healthy.

I appreciate all the feedback. I dont know why I thought he would throw a few innings late August/ early September.
My concern over time with him getting the Ottavino treatment and Cardinals cutting ties with him a little early.

Roby has electric stuff and has dominated at times. He just hasn't been able to stay on the field and make his starts.Ronnie Dobbs wrote: ↑17 Feb 2026 13:46 pmHe won't pitch this year, but I've read the same thing about him.
