Dvo through 3 Olympic games: 2 critical and clutch goals, 2 assists, +1
Love it!
Dvorsky score's Olympic goal thread. Trolls post about Thomas being injury prone thread.
Dvo showing some cool moments at the Olympics. People talking about celebrini about how young he is. Dvo also extremely young doing cool things. Blues fans only focus on the negative.

this fragile homer can't hear conflicting opinions or else the person is a troll
it's pitiful
seattle slew can't look at things objectively without being a hater and gets bothered when people don't conform. Go look at any grouping of 10 posts I make and tell me I am not on both sides of arguments and meet people halfway. You are just an angry elf.

To compete for a Cup outside of the fluke run hope scenario which is very rare, your cornerstones better be two high end centers, a true #1 defenseman and a playoff nails goalie. Then give me quality & depth everywhere else.
Said it many many times but Dvorsky is one of these needed pieces, he is one of the cornerstones we need at center. We have not seen in a Blues uniform yet what it's fully going to be, but it will emerge. There is too much depth to his ability and intention for it not to happen if he stays healthy.
Are you building around Thomas and Dvorsky?
We are sitting with uncomfortable ambiguity. I would build around the post-break Thomas last year, but not around the Thomas who showed up this year. It's also his prime. This is it.
I don't have full faith in Thomas as we sit here today. He seems average. Barely shoots, knows he has to shoot, can't make himself.
The vast majority of Thomas's career points to a ppg center vs what we are seeing now. Has he been hurt is it just a down year all around? idk im not ready to throw the baby out with the bath water.
Yes i think the Blues can begin to build the forward core with what they have in
I think Thomas has been hurt most all of this year.
He will forever be linked to Berube's firing because he sided with Kyrou, and I see why he might have made that decision... at that time- not knowing the consequences.
Army traded off all the old leaders except Schenner because he thought Kytou and Thomas were ready to continue stepping up their games like grown men. He was only half right.

As I have posted before, Thomas has averaged 74 games a year for the past four years and played all 82 games 2 years ago. Until this year, he only missed significant time in the Covid shortened season of 2020-20201. The typical NHL player averages 70-75 games a year. Thomas does not have a durability problem. Holloway on the other hand . . .
Leads forwards in ATOI this year and the previous two; seasons before that, second to Buchnevich (by six seconds) and second to ROR.
That average is based on games that he plays in. If i play 1 game and play 27 min. I average 27 minutes in the ganes i play in, not in 82 game season.
Among forwards, The Thomas' rank in total time on ice past five seasons, beginning with this one:
Third
Fourth
First
Third
Second (behind the bionic ROR)

Dozed off during 3rd period
Anyone know the final score?
I am assuming Slovakia won.
I think ENG 6-2 Slovakia has a good shot at the bronze they will be a tough out for someone. Good goalie play, they check very well they obviously lack the NHL depth of the Big 3
