Good luck. Kyrou has a no trade clause and Binnington has a 14 team no trade list.
Army refused to give Petro a NTC, but hands them out like candy to average and above average/good players.

Army refused to give Petro a (NMC) No Movement Clause. He’s still never given a player a NMC. He was more than willing to give Petro a (NTC) No Trade Clause and has given plenty of those out. There is a difference. Saad had a NTC and not a NMC. It’s how Army was able to send him to AHL and then Saad wanted to terminate his contract so the Blues got out of it. I suggest you go learn something before spouting off on a subject you clearly know little about next time.AtillaTheBlue1 wrote: ↑16 Feb 2026 06:12 amGood luck. Doing well. Living life and playing a lot of music lately which is fun-fun.
If I was EDM I’d want him pretty bad but they don’t have much to offer. Possibly MTLHarry S Deals wrote: ↑16 Feb 2026 09:06 am The best Binnie is going to return is a 3rd rounder ish with a marginal AHL/NHL prospect. Hes old, his numbers arent that good and only a few NHL teams if at all would need a "big game" goalie. What Cup contender right now can say that Binnie is a clear upgrade
Hofer is getting more looks this year, which is good and bad. Next year will be tough for him. The league is getting a good book on him.stlblue06 wrote: ↑16 Feb 2026 10:24 amIf I was EDM I’d want him pretty bad but they don’t have much to offer. Might as well keep him assuming he’s ok being a 1B with a capitol B next season. Hofer is signed to a good contract
Idk Hofer is the best young goalie going he looks like he hit a bump i think his save pct dropped a bit for sure but hes the goalie to build out from. My money says Hofer is the next Olympic goalie for Canada. His size and athleticism alone are great not to mention his reads. He should progress with playing time.bud white wrote: ↑16 Feb 2026 12:25 pmHofer is getting more looks this year, which is good and bad. Next year will be tough for him. I'm not saying he will fail. What I'm saying is that the league will adjust and we'll need to see how HE will adjust. That is the way of it.
As for Edmonton - they continue to believe that they can swap in goalies and expect a different result when the issue lies elsewhere. They simply do not have the four line depth or the defensive corps to win a Cup. Even with them having the two of the top ten players in the league.
He should certainly be in the discussion for Team Canada. But we have yet to know how he'll perform under the bright lights. But personally, I would still like to see him have one more year as a pairing with Binnington. The only thing I've seen from him is a penchant to cheat a bit too much (he's been burned a couple of times on that front ... and could have been dinged much more TBH). And there are times when he makes himself small. But to be fair, more often than not, issues like that start to blossom when you lose faith in the coverage in front of you. I've seen it from Binner too which points more to a team issue vs a goalie issue.Harry S Deals wrote: ↑16 Feb 2026 14:29 pmIdk Hofer is the best young goalie going he looks like he hit a bump i think his save pct dropped a bit for sure but hes the goalie to build out from.
