This might be a weird thing to say, but I really like the scorebox or whatever you call it in the top left corner. Its very sharp and clean.

I don't see Swayman often, is this normal? Every goal has been a bit suspect.

That goal from the red line gave me some Stevie Y Game 7 2OT PTSD. Not from the same spot but just a ridiculous goal to give up. Glad it didn’t matter today.

Broadcasters pointed out on replay how that puck angle came to Swayman out of a black painted background of the rink wall. There's lots of it around that rink.

Not making excuse for Swayman but man it seemed a valid comment.

That color choice for the wall was thoughtless.

I heard Swayman is color blind and that made picking the puck out of the dark background even more challenging.

Strange there is no thread for the Germany game.

Before one of the first games, or it may have even been one of the women’s games, the broadcasters mentioned the goaltenders having trouble picking up the pucks against the dark boards.

Frankly, after I saw the boards I was surprised it took so long for this to happen.

I agree completely.

This is really stupid and they need to change it now.

Pierre McGuire wrote: 12 Feb 2026 16:51 pm Brady is exactly the player he was expected to be, he’s actually exceeded expectations statistically. He’s a solid player, nothing about him is overrated, unless you just hate the way he plays the game or that his last name is Tkachuk.

They are 2 really good hockey players....one of them with multiple Cups and to his credit as well.

But there is a STL myth surrounding them that has lend itself to many posters, not all but enough, going overboard on them.

All the trade proposals I have seen to land either are highly questionable or pathetically too low. The Blues would need an extremely strong cast of REMAINING players to have such realistic trade proposals make sense.

I guess put me in the "ain't happening" category for one side or the other but man the ink they get here if not over rated is definitely over something.
I think the Blues could put a package together for Brady.
First the why is he could be the future captain and allow the team to trade Schenn in the future. He instantly takes the team toughness to another level and would allow the team to fill the seats every home game while they build the team. I also think he’d get the best out of Thomas.
To land him you’ll need to add either a Holloway or Jake to go along with Kyrou to have a chance. Ottawa is weak at RW and between both players they would add production to their team. Ottawa also gets a great character player in Jake who adds some of the same grit Brady does. The Blues could also make this a bigger deal adding some combo of players like Binner, Parayko and Faulk, maybe even a Suter to land a RHD prospect.
Ottawa adds depth scoring, replaces some of the grit Brady brings and the Blues do have some leverage here as Ottawa I’m sure knows there some risk that Brady could just sign in St Louis in two years and they get nothing.

Don't see that happening in the middle of the tournament.

That being said I also don't expect to see Swayman again. All 3 of those goals were weak.

Hey Army.
Float Binnington in front of Boston.
Love, ASOGG

Hint:
Maybe solve the Center problem.

Faulk, Thomas, and Binnington in exchange for

- 2026 2 1st Round Picks
- Dean Letourneau
- Andre Gasseau
- Mason Lohrei

Get 'er done. :)

Both of your comments could well be true.

The boards are a mess with all the black, imo.
