I don’t watch Cards baseball to see the same poor performers run out there year after year with management pretending or hoping to see a different outcome. It insults my intelligence
We’ve been in this abyss since 2023….it’s 2026…..and promised hope of improvement is years away.
This organization has made itself irrelevant
I suppose if you get enjoyment or are entertained watching Gorman, Walker, Noot and even Scott make the case why they’re not Major Leaguers this is your team.
But the St Louis Cardinals shouldn’t be a AAAA exhibition especially for the money they want to watch

Imagine how pleased you will be with the 2027 draft when the Cardinals may get the No. 1 pick in the draft . Get a Paul Skenes type pitcher or some hot shot position bat .. a Bryce Harper type etc.
Can a player not sign with the drafting team and re-enter the following year’s draft?
You know the answer to this- it happened to your Astros.
You will have to trust me on this

I did not know . .. I don’t pay much attention to the draft

Everyone year each team brags about their productive draft

and most of players they picked are never heard of again

70 wins is projected. Seems about right. The real victory of 2026 is that Johnny bow ties is gone. I hope that guy sailed down the Mississippi on a piece of driftwood. What a putz.
