Anybody up for taking a flyer on Pierre Crinon. Big boy and a gamer
Re: Canada & Binner vs France Sun Feb 15
Well Crinon made it a little more interesting for sure. He did two things you don't usually see, 1-knocked Nate Mac around and then 2-got Tom Wilson of balance. Definitely 2 qualities we don't have on our current lines.

Hell yeah on Crinon...dude kinda ragdolled Wilson, don't really see that too often. Stung MacKinnon too, but he got him with his elbow, which it seemed like he didn't mean to do. Not sure MacKinnon accepted his apology, however

Now the whole world gets to see how overrated 55 is.Russdv14 wrote: ↑15 Feb 2026 12:22 pm If I’m not mistaken. It appeared that Parayko was benched for the entire third period by Jon Cooper. We’ll need to check the time on ice if that stat is on ESPN too. With this being a relatively easy game, you think that Cooper would’ve shortened the bench and 55 playing more. Doughty was on the right side when France scored their second goal so it wasn’t Parayko on both
Texier -5 Parayko -1. So may have not played the third period at all, as I think they have extra skaters.
Thomas Harley (Stars) -2 today
I don’t think that was Kenny Albert play-by-play but Olyck was the sidekick and I think this is one of the regular NHL announcers that we usually hear
Re: Canada & Binner vs France Sun Feb 15
JFC people. The TOI doesn't indicate anything wrong with Parayko.
Two things: Canada was playing with 7 dmen. And Canada wants the #1 seed, so they were putting on their top scorers as goal differential would determine the #1 seed.
Devon Toews D 1 0 1 +4 16:02
Cale Makar D 1 0 1 +3 17:49
Thomas Harley D 0 0 0 -2 17:14
Colton Parayko D 0 0 0 -1 15:08
Travis Sanheim D 0 0 0 +3 18:53
Drew Doughty D 0 1 1 +1 15:59
Shea Theodore D 0 1 1 +2 14:53

Good stat sheet, Somni, My perception may have been wrong. Good point- I give my fellow posters plaudits when making counter-points

So Here for it.Pierre McGuire wrote: ↑15 Feb 2026 12:53 pm Anybody up for taking a flyer on Pierre Crinon. Big boy and a gamer
Dude ragdolled Tom Wilson with ease. Had to watch it three times
Re: Canada & Binner vs France Sun Feb 15
No problem. Granted, I didn't see much of the game.
BTW, it's hard to find stats for the Olympic games that include TOI. Annoying.

Crinon averages less than 1 goal a year. I don't think I'd be pining for him to join the Blues.

Well, if he can rag doll Wilson and at least play as a 4th liner, I’m in. Especially given our current guys don’t score either:PregnantNun wrote: ↑16 Feb 2026 22:19 pm Crinon averages less than 1 goal a year. I don't think I'd be pining for him to join the Blues.
Sunny, Walker - 4 each
Toro - 3 goals
Joseph - 2 goals
Fabbri 1 goal
Edit: Didn’t realize he was a defenseman. Probably pass.
