Let's fire Gates!!! He can't shoot free throws and get open. Let's get him out of here!

He recruits and coaches, if the players don't perform it comes back to him, and he's recruited some zeroes.TheMajicMan wrote: ↑14 Feb 2026 22:03 pmslimjay63801 wrote: ↑14 Feb 2026 22:00 pmWhen you dont make FT's, it changes how you play the game down the stretch. In AZ so it's only 9pm here. I'd have hated to have attended. Wait 20 minutes for game to start then sit through a Mizzou slog until after 10pm.

Two bubble teams and the visiting team stomps the home team. Tonight was our chance to make a statement that we belong and we laid a big turd. No tourney this year.

Maybe communicate a tad bit better, bub. Learn to talk to who you are actually are talking to. Wanna try that? We'd only lost one at home & that was a last second shot by UGA. Sold out crowd vs hated Tex-as & there were too many no-shows on our squad. We never did enough to get the crowd involved. Very disappointed.Lightning Rod wrote: ↑14 Feb 2026 22:16 pm Two bubble teams and the visiting team stomps the home team. We're just not good enough for Pierce to disappear, Crews unable to make a three, and to miss 12 FT and expect to win. THere are just too many holes in our lineup to win consistently.MizzouMarv wrote: ↑14 Feb 2026 22:21 pmWe'd only lost one at home & that was a last second shot by UGA. Haven't you said multiple times on here, "they won't win another game"?Lightning Rod wrote: ↑14 Feb 2026 22:16 pm Two bubble teams and the visiting team stomps the home team. Tonight was our chance to make a statement that we belong and we laid a big turd. No tourney this year.

Re: Missouri-Texas
Just a weird game from the start.
Missouri played meh but even in the first half and hung with them and then just could not muster the hot play to win it in the second half rather the opposite. No one really wanted it but Texas did.
Would love to have heard Gates half time talk. Very curious how he motivates because this was a big miss. Texas played well but the Missouri players as a team let this one get away.
Now it's a much tougher row ahead.
