Admittedly we don't get to see the Sens very much.
What a terrific talent. He can shoot from ll angles- and even score while falling down .. he can create. He gets the shot off quickly. He doesn't sit around on the perimeter. He is slippery. Gets open. Gets shots off. And - what really stood out - was his ability to use his speed to be the first man in and hunt pucks. He takes charge when he's out there. He knows he's going to get hit and he knows he isn't afraid of delivering a hit when the opportunity presents.

What a terrific talent. He can shoot from ll angles Kyrou waits for the perfect shot- and even score while falling down .. he can create Kyrou- every now and then. But prefers others create for him. He gets the shot off quickly JK dusts it off constantly. He doesn't sit around on the perimeter JK always on the perimeter. He is slippery. Gets open. Gets shots off. And - what really stood out - was his ability to use his speed to be the first man in and hunt pucks I have NEVER witnessed JK use his speed to hunt down pucks on the forecheck - and I go to 20 games a year, so I watch him in persons. He takes charge when he's out there JK- Nope. He knows he's going to get hit and he knows he isn't afraid of delivering a hit when the opportunity presents Again, JK - Nopebud white wrote: ↑13 Feb 2026 12:35 pm Admittedly we don't get to see the Sens very much.

Here's my point. Posters here talk about JKs talent. And that ALONE is what makes him maddening. If you don't utilize all of your tools along with effort, you are wasting time on an NHL roster.
Kyrou is just as fast - if not a bit faster in open ice. He's bigger. Shot may be better.

Stutzle slammed Parayko from behind a couple years ago in a game against the Sens. He’s not shy about playing with some contact. I know Kyrou has talent and has improved defensively but he still isn’t willingly by to do whatever it takes to win. If Connor McDavid can throw a big check from time to time then it should be good enough for Kyrou. Pasta fought one of the Tkachuk’s in the playoffs and in the game against Canada had Hagel lined up for a big hit but missed. Thats what motivates teams . Kyrou doesn’t have that same level of complete.bud white wrote: ↑14 Feb 2026 10:34 amWhat a terrific talent.
