Re: Spectrum(charter) Direct TV,and Fubo
Time for DeWitt III with him MBA from Harvard to step up. Unfortunately he seems to see the world from the perspective of someone who inherited money. The focus on replacing blue collar seats in Busch II with luxury suites in Busch III and the move toward forcing fans to pay to watch games indicate he doesn't understand blue collar fans who for 100 years were the backbone of the Cardinals.

I just said about the same thing to my wife. And just think of the older generation of lifelong fans that will no longer watch their favorite team.ScotchMIrish wrote: ↑14 Feb 2026 09:28 am Time for DeWitt III with him MBA from Harvard to step up. That sports teams claim to care about their fans is the big lie. If they figure out they can make another buck they do it.ScotchMIrish wrote: ↑14 Feb 2026 09:28 am Time for DeWitt III with him MBA from Harvard to step up. Can you imagine if your favorite restaurant moved around and every time you wanted to go there you had to get online and figure out where they were that day?
How about to eat at your favorite restaurant you had to buy meals at other restaurants?
The only break sports fans get is when the team is bad and they have to offer huge discounts on seats- as the Cardinals are doing.
Unfortunately no such breaks for broadcasts which is one reason the "unauthorized streams" continue to grow in popularity. I used to feel bad for the sports teams because they could not control those but not so much anymore.

Good for you? I hope you enjoy your protesting as much as I enjoy watching baseball games at the end of a long summer day.CCard wrote: ↑14 Feb 2026 06:27 amYou're just justifying their actions by buying it. If that's okay with you then fine, but I believe in making a statement with my dollars. They put up then I put up, they don't then I don't.

Exactly. The only supporting I'm doing is supporting something I enjoy.JohnnyMO wrote: ↑14 Feb 2026 09:41 amGood for you? +1...DeTwit is a DeTwat...I'm sure the front office (donkey) kissers will continue to defend this mess.OldRed wrote: ↑14 Feb 2026 09:31 amI just said about the same thing to my wife. How to you propose the Cardinals allow their fans to watch the games this year? It's not like the Cards are the only team with this exact type setup. It's half the league.WLTFE wrote: ↑14 Feb 2026 09:56 am+1...DeTwit is a DeTwat...I'm sure the front office (donkey) kissers will continue to defend this mess.OldRed wrote: ↑14 Feb 2026 09:31 amI just said about the same thing to my wife. They care about money and therefore need to understand their customers.hotrivets wrote: ↑14 Feb 2026 09:37 amThat sports teams claim to care about their fans is the big lie. People find other things to do and move on. Getting them back isn't automatic.OldRed wrote: ↑14 Feb 2026 09:31 amI just said about the same thing to my wife. But they're blackouted on Cardinals.TV meaning if you don't have ESPN, then you're blacked out.
Re: Spectrum(charter) Direct TV,and Fubo
If you’re old enough you remember the days of KSDK channel 5 broadcasts of select AWAY games only…..perhaps thats the answer to get butts back in the seats at Busch.
Jay Randolph
Ron Jacober
Mike Shannon
Jack Buck
Those were some quite entertaining broadcasts……

Ok thanks!cardinalsfever44 wrote: ↑14 Feb 2026 09:02 amLowest cost plan on Fubo was $55/month. I still get all the Mizzou/SLU games and haven't yet noticed not being able to watch something I usually watch.Cardinals4Life wrote: ↑14 Feb 2026 08:55 amI didnt realize there were lower plans. How low is the cheapest plan?cardinalsfever44 wrote: ↑13 Feb 2026 21:53 pmAgreed. I actually just slashed my fubo tv to the lowest plan and added Cardinals.tv for $99, which will end up saving me a lot of money. The only reason I didn't have the lowest plan was for the Cardinals.Cardinals4Life wrote: ↑13 Feb 2026 21:48 pm$100 to watch pretty much every game is very affordable. I pay almost $100 a month for Fubo to basically watch the Cardinals. This is a much better option.
Usually just watch Cardinals and sometimes the news channels and CBS for Chiefs games.

Last year I maybe watched 20-30 games, listened to others, but overall I'm watching and listening less and less.
I guess their plan is working.
