It's hard to believe it's true. You gain standing by just playing Quad 1 games.

I hope if they win out they are looking at a 5 or 6 seed. If they get to the conference tourney title game and lose that pushes them to a 7. If they lose twice before selection Sunday they get dinged to an 8/9 game. Need to avoid the 8/9 for obvious reasons. The metrics are off the hook. Hope the committee shows respect. I have doubts.

I suppose if the teams in the 8-20 range nationally start losing left and right but I tend to doubt it. The committee will be far too busy figuring out how to seed the 11th team in the SEC and the 15th team in the big ten to give actual earned respect.
