Woke up and saw something about a disallowed goal in this game. Looks like it's 3-2 Sweden at the 2nd intermission. I haven't watched any yet, but have it up and will watch the 3rd. First taste of 2026 Olympic hockey for me. Mainly interested in watching our guys.

Saw that Stutzle scored again to tighten the GER vs LAT game to 3-4.

Oh my Lucas Raymond. Great goal.

Dvorsky on the ice for that one, but he's on the other side as Raymond deked around Nemec with a power move to the net from the left wing and snuck it through the goalie's legs. I would say the goalie wasn't very solid on that one. Dvo didn't look happy.

Edit: Forsberg rang the bar. Zibanejad misses open net. Somehow cleared and no goal. Two rushes in by Sweden, two shots, two clears.

Thanks for the rundown. Couldn’t get up early enough for this one. Really cool to see Dvo having a good tournament. Has to be exciting for him and, if you’re a Blues fan, it’s good to see he’s not disappearing in the big games.

Thanks for the play-by-play!! I cant wait to see dvorsky in tge playoffs once we get to that point. As far as my memory serves me he always produces on these stages.

I think during the buildup of the shorthanded 0-1, Dvorsky could have done a bit more.

He is definitely comfortable with the puck in the offensive zone, but skating wise for me he seems still a work in progress.

I think if I'm following the tourney correctly that the US and Canada are both 2-0 with games today. If they both win today the tiebreaker will be total goals and right now US has 11 and Canada 10. I've further seen, and this is where I might have misread, that finishing first will avoid Sweden in the quarterfinals (maybe it's the semis, my confusion). Seems Sweden is probably third if we were doing a hypothetical ranking and then I guess Finland 4? Anyway, doesn't much matter, win your games and everything else falls into place.

Would like to see the US get Keller into the lineup today. Would also like to see Swayman have his eyes checked, by an eye doctor, during the game, while not dressed. I assume we have seen the last of him this tourney.
