It's actually cheaper for out of market subscribers than in-market subscribers this year.
i tried to cancel DIRECTV and they gave me Extra Innings for free the last 2 seasons.
Get every game, home and away announcers for all MLB games.
I have DirectTV too, wish I knew this worked
I think it is about time for my annual battle with DirecTV over the new cost. For a long time they could keep it around $100 including the extra charge for sports. Last year they did not do as well but they cut my internet down a lot which balanced it somewhat. Plus they gave me some kind of expanded ESPN access which allowed me to watch some Blues games this year.
It's amazing how companies create barriers to their customers and then wonder why their subscriber base is shrinking.

It's insane
I use to go to battle w/Charter--Spectrum all the time until I finally said "up yours" (after they tried to raise me from $110/mo to $165/mo) and dropped them.
Question: do you have to have MLB tv to also get Cardinals Tv? Effectively making it a double paywall? I don't have any tv streaming services other that the Amazon prime my wife insists on. Help an old guy out here. While I think this season is going to be rough, I am interested in watching the baby birds grow.

No, you won't have to buy the MLBtv package and the CardinalsTV.com package.
The MLB app is free, if you already have an account you can buy your CardinalsTV service there.

Without the Cardinals and Blues, there is zero value for any of the RSN's on DirecTV. Most games of any type are blacked out. If there's no solution, I will be having a "come to Jesus" conversation with them.

Surely they will have to take off the extra fee for sports, right? And don't call me Shirley!

Am I looking at the wrong thing? When I log in to my MLB app, it shows the Cardinals full season package available for $199. I see people posting here that it's $99 or $9.99 a month. Am I not looking at the right thing?

I just signed up online. Go to Cardinals.tv. It is $99. On your tv the games will come on the MLB app
