This happens literally every freaking time.

Blues suck, 90% of the fans blame Binnngton. Binnington kills it in olympics, world cup of hockey, all other international play OH and in the NHL playoffs every time he plays and people wonder how anyone could trash the guy.

the ole reddit canada base is in shambles. Lots of people were hoping for a high scoring game that they won so binner would get the bench. My guess is tho, binner will have a less than stellar next performance. and might not turn it back on until the medal round. He's definitely prone to having normal games after a great one. EDIT : thats assuming a softy or 2 doesn't go in while he has the lead.

Kind of the same thing as a quarterback in football. A good defense is like a good offensive line. But even the best QB can look pretty poor if he plays behind a bad offensive line and spends all game under pressure.

Hard to understand how anyone could consistently be so unlucky but he seems to find a way.

Teams that would want a dialed in Binnington for a playoff run -- Oilers ( Jarry ? give me a break), the Canadiens and depending on health -- Vegas. Toronto without a run seems to be sellers.
