Super excited about 2026!
Can’t wait to watch some baseball.
Watching new stars rise.
Older stars take their final bow.
A clutch hit.
A walk off Homer.
A strikeout to end the game.
A great catch to steal a triple.
A diving stop to turn a double play.
I can’t wait.

And you will get none of that from a Cardinals game.....except maybe the strikeout to end the game, probably from Gorman or Walker.Cardinals1964 wrote: ↑11 Feb 2026 22:59 pm Can’t wait to watch some baseball.

lol. I never mentioned the Cardinals. I was talking about Baseball. Do you ever watch games that the Cardinals aren’t playing in? Why do you watch those games? To see some baseball, right?Cardinals4Life wrote: ↑11 Feb 2026 23:20 pmAnd you will get none of that from a Cardinals game.....except maybe the strikeout to end the game, probably from Gorman or Walker.Cardinals1964 wrote: ↑11 Feb 2026 22:59 pm Can’t wait to watch some baseball.

Regarding the Cardinals, I predict everything I like about the game comes true on their side. Except the older stars part.

Our bullpen might be all right.
Re: Super excited about 2026!
MrPostman ,
Your 6 word analysis of the Cardinals may be the quote of the day . I could imagine you on the MLB Hot Stove show as Harold and Matty V.
kept reports from fans around the league on how their team looks for 2026.
After some in-depth analysis from the Dodger, Yankee fans they say , 'Now let's bring in MrPostman from St. Louis to get his thoughts on the young rebuilding Cardinals for this season . Mr. Postman 'Our bullpen might be all right.' Click
Matty V. 'Well that was short and sweet by the Postman .
Good one !

Thanks for the post ‘64. I am also a baseball fan. I enjoy watching any baseball games—Cardinals, other MLB teams, AAA games. I enjoy baseball live or on tv.Cardinals1964 wrote: ↑12 Feb 2026 00:17 amlol. I never mentioned the Cardinals. I was talking about Baseball. Yes, so excited
( Feel like the Pointer Sisters )
The song Oli plays in the clubhouse daily
I'm so excited, and I just can't hide it
I'm about to lose control and I think I like it
I'm so excited, and I just can't hide it
And I know, I know, I know, I know, I know I want you

Why would anyone not be ready for baseball. No different than any other sport. Something to watch. Something to see.
As an atheletic type, I just enjoy good strong competition. Human against human. No cheating. Straight up.

And you can feel it in that dugout.
That’s disappointment.
That’s frustration.
That’s a room full of people who expected better.
You hope cooler heads prevail.
You hope tomorrow looks different.
But right now… this is a moment we wish the Cards handled another way.

This thread is full of poetry, song lyrics, and the beginnings of a haiku.

Re: Super excited about 2026!
The world series was superb last season... So was the Toronto Seattle series before it..... Of course good ball games all season. The cards are about watching some young players develop for one or two more seasons. I think they may not be as bad as some think this season and may win 75-80 gamesCardinals1964 wrote: ↑12 Feb 2026 00:17 amlol. I never mentioned the Cardinals. I was talking about Baseball.
